The SmartGraphics™ Module

There’s so much power and functionality in the HostedControls™ SmartGraphics™ Module, you’ll wonder how you ever got along without it. This graphical interface is totally based on Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) and Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG); this gives you images that are smooth and clear no matter how far in or out you zoom the viewer, and the browser screen never has to refresh and reload the page for you to get updated information. It does all this without the need for special plug-ins.
The graphics are “smart” too. When you hover over a system component with you mouse, our Information & Command Panel comes to life with the latest information and values from the BAS. Plus, we’ve included an innovative little InstaChart™ for so you can immediately see how the system has been behaving. When you click on a system component, the Information & Command Panel locks open to present you with command options available to your chosen system.
Our SVG graphics are fully animated and interactive.
Two more CyrusPowered™ industry firsts are also introduced in Version 3 of HostedControls:
- The Time Slider Panel – Gives you the ability to slide back in time and see the values of the system just as they were at that time. You can also move the slider back in time and replay the values (at a faster rate than real-time) and watch what you might have missed while looking at something else.
- The Polling Duration Panel – Ever wonder what the latency is in your building control network, what the age of the values on your graphic are? With HostedControls™ you can see this information all the time. Our Polling Duration Panel gives you an update every five seconds, and reveals to you average ages of the data, what the newest and oldest values are on-screen, plus the average network latency of the building automation network.
